Change to Permalinks
Just a quick note to say that I’ve changed the format of the links to individual posts. (Of course, the main link to this blog remains the same, so you can always enter through http://blog.rainsberger.ca ) This does mean that if you’ve happened to bookmark any individual pages, those links won’t work any more. Don’t worry, you can still find the post by coming to the main site and using links or searching.
For example, that discussion about the online policies used to be: http://www.rainsberger.ca/blog/?p=7 The reason for the change is that p=7 wasn’t a very descriptive title, and if you did bookmark it, forget about it, then notice it after a while, it probably would seem kind of random. I’m sure you’ll agree that this link makes more sense: http://www.rainsberger.ca/blog/2007/08/27/change-to-online-learning-registration-policies
So now, each individual entry will have a link that includes the date and the title. So, if your old bookmarks aren’t working, it’s intentional and it’s all for a greater good!
