		<description>That is hilarious and sad! My hubby is taking transportation engineering at college. What you describe here, is his biggest complaint. He had never gone to college until he was 34 and was sent back through re-education through WSIB. He was a mechanic before this. Now, he had to &#039;redo&#039; grade 9 to 12 math in one summer to upgrade his math  after being out of school for 17 years. He got a 98%, then he goes to college and they &#039;reteach&#039; everything and skip entire &#039;hows&#039; and &#039;whys&#039; to get answers. Then the teachers gripe that students don&#039;t know, how can they know something, they never learned? He finds it so frustrating. My eldest used his enrichment math for grade 8 and did all the grades in 4 months. Now he&#039;s redoing math in it&#039;s long text form, just because he wants too...LOL  Soooo glad we home educate!</description>
