		<description>Thanks for reporting, Ken!  Now matter how niche a conference may seem to be, I&#039;m sure there are always outsiders who are interested in knowing what are hot topics in the field.

I did hear back promptly from Michelle and she mentioned the same thing: much of the focus is on dealing with the applied degrees.

Not a huge disappointment.  Sometimes it&#039;s good to slip in under the radar . . .</description>

Most of the attention was paid to college applied degrees, and how to consider them for admission to graduate programs. (The consensus is that right now, it&#039;s very tough to get into a graduate program with a college degree, especially in Ontario.)</description>
