Ontario sees surge of university expansion plans
Sorry for the lack of posts recently. It’s conference season, you know! In catching up with my online reading, I came across this Globe and Mail article describing the flurry of activity across the province.
Rumours include a new Wilfred Laurier campus in Milton, a new university in Sault Ste. Marie, engineering and medical programs at York University, just to name a few. Still an issue for the province is the growing need for university spots in the GTA, so expect some expansion plans to address this concern in the near future, too.
